Ethan Allen Hotel is seeking a highly motivated Lead Banquet Server who will supervise and guide a team of servers.  This person will be responsible for all aspects of banquet coordinator and ensuring guests are provided an exceptional level of customer service. 

Must be willing to work flexible schedules based on banquet needs including nights, weekends and holidays. 

 

Job Requirements

Essential functions include but are not limited to:  

  • Manage staff and maintain communication during events; pick up critical areas as needed
  • Communicate with Chef and Sales Manager on event details
  • Attend weekly Banquet Event Order meetings and pre-function meetings
  • Review and follow Banquet Event Orders accordingly
  • Maintain sanitation standards and cleanliness in banquet areas
  • Requisition of all liquor needed for events and table service
  • Coordinated room set ups with staff and housemen including set-up, break down and clean function spaces
  • Maintain proper storage of linens and equipment for events
  • Function prep work, dividing of teams, meal tickets, etc.
  • Coordinate with the chef/client on timing
  • Assist in the setup of AV equipment
  • Inventory count of required event items
  • Assist other departments in their regular functions as required

Ethan Allen Hotel is a 200 room renovated hotel, restaurant and bar with extensive banquet facilities including a 15,000 sq ft. beautiful ballroom.  Our 21 Lake Restaurant www.21lakerestaurantandbar.com/ has seating for approximately 75 guests for dining and 35 for bar.
