The Pittsburgh Market is actively seeking a Senior Operations Administrator to assist and support four Retail Design Centers.  This position will oversee the functions necessary for daily operation of the business, including record keeping, maintenance, training and customer service. This full time position will be based in Lyndhurst, Ohio located inside our flagship Legacy Village Design Center.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Coordinate communications and operational procedures within four Pittsburgh Market Design Centers.
  • Conduct daily and month-end reviews and audits of processes and transactions to ensure all are accurately recorded, reconciled and properly deposited.
  • Check that all monthly batch postings have been completed prior to month end process.
  • Resolve Accounts Receivable issues.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries by contacting factories and internal departments.
  • Coordinate delivered sales and labor invoices to make sure they are booked in the same fiscal period.
  • Assist with cycle counts and review/research variances as needed.
  • Provide direction and support to appropriate personnel and evaluate accordingly, in partnership with Design Center Leadership.
  • Manage customer service issues in partnership with the Market Operations Leader and Customer Service Manager.
  • Train interior design consultants on clean selling practices.
  • Gather quotes needed for design center maintenance and put proposals/CapEx together for review and approval.
  • Analyze reports and put corrective measures in place to strengthen the business.
  • Must be flexible to work some weekends at the discretion of immediate supervisor.
  • Be a liaison between Design Teams and Market Operations Leaders on issues and questions, contributing ideas and suggestions that will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service 

 

Job Requirements

Education/Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field with minimum of one (1) year of experience in a business environment, including some experience in customer service -OR-
  • High School diploma/equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in lieu of a college degree.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Other Requirements


  • Ability to work with others in a team setting.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve customer problems.
  • Must be well-organized, able to work independently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical skills, experience with Microsoft Office365, Storis, JDE/AS400 a plus.
  • Travel within the market, as needed (less than 25%, no overnights)
