Job Description

  • Provides administrative support and assists in recruitment and new hire process, preparation of offer letters, arranging for pre-employment drug screens and reference checks, completeness, data entry of new hires into HR database, etc.
  • preparation of new hire orientation packets, review new hire PANS for accuracy and
  • including Ethan Allen jobs mailbox, sorting and reviewing of applications,
  • Assists in termination process including review of termination PANS for accuracy and exit interviews, etc.

  • Provides administrative support for leave of absence process including answering questions,  processing of leave of absence PANS, notification to Payroll of salary continuation
  • and/or disability payments.
  • preparing FMLA notification, follow-up communications with employees regarding
  • Maintain and distribute as appropriate employee information, policy and procedure manuals, policies and procedures. Provides appropriate forms as requested.
  • handbooks and other communications. Respond to routine questions on human resources
  • Provides support for standard office procedures, including scheduling appointments, greeting visitors (i.e. applications, etc.)
  • processing mail, answering phones and e-mail,
  • As requested participates in various projects related to Human Resources
  • by gathering information and preparing reports, spreadsheets, packets of information, etc.

Job Requirements

  1. 3 Years of Human Resources experience
  2. Knowledgeable of employment laws and administration of laws; i.e. FMLA, Wage & Hour, etc.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  4. Ability to work in multiple systems
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication sills
  6. Organized and able to multi-task
  7. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees throughout the organization
  8. Maintain a pleasant attitude during frequent periods of stress
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  10. Affirmative Action experience
  11. Bilingual is a plus
