Position Summary:

Provide direction, tools, and resources for all field Visual Merchandisers across the field enabling the implementation and maintenance of the current Ethan Allen branded projection. This is to promote the display projections to design center, district, and regional visual merchandisers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Ethan Allen Visual Merchandising Guidelines are met throughout the organization.
  • Oversee installation of new/renovated Design Centers including reviewing furniture plans, coordinates lists /orders, conducting conference calls, follow up calls and emails as needed.
  • Maintain Visual Merchandising link on the Extranet employing new topics and guidelines in addition to existing links.
  • Create and direct the training and education of all Visual Merchandisers through Ethan Allen production resources and personal mentoring.  
  • Organize and lead monthly virtual meetings (e.g., via Zoom, MS Teams, or any other virtual platform) for the Visual Merchandising and Display associates to allow consistent communications to the retail Visual Merchandising team.
  • Work closely with a team of Stylists and Merchants on the company’s branded projection.
  • Assist in annual projects such as: merchandising of Convention, Product Review, Retail Advisory, etc. as needed.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of visual merchandising experience.
  • Degree in Management or Management courses preferred.
  • Must have extensive design (technical and conceptual) skills and management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 30 percent as needed.
